The Singing Sensation Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce Knowles, known for her hard work since childhood, rose to the ranks of the most influential singers because of her talent.

The “Destiny’s Child’s” voice enthralled many at several occasions. Looking at the appreciation the Texan girl received from music lovers around the world over the last few years, one can easily predict that her voice will stay here forever. Songs from Destiny's Child, her first album in association with her father, cousin, and two friends who were part of the group, appeared on the soundtracks of movies such as Charlie's Angels and Bad Boys II.

Under the management of Matthew Knowles, her father, the group named Destiny's Child was eager to learn fast and began playing local small events till their first television debut on Star Search. After that they did not look back, though the group decided to break-up recently. Beyonce’s hard work received several accolades including three awards in 1998 the debut album.

Following the decision to break up the group after releasing a slew of golden hits, the pop diva Beyonce pursued solo career successfully. Cementing her success as a singer, her solo debut Dangerously in Love in 2003 and the solo album became one of the biggest successes of the year, topping the album charts in the U.S., the Canada, and the UK.

Beyonce’s association with the film industry has also taken her to new highs. At the 77th Academy Awards in 2005, Beyonce became the first artist to sing three of the Oscar nominates for the Best Song during the telecast. Apart from singing, Beyonce, who was responsible for most of the lyrics for hit songs, enjoyed film production as well. She made a couple of movies including a remake of the classic Carmen, while her second film was Austin Powers in Goldmember where she played Foxy Cleopatra opposite Mike Myers' role of Austin Powers.

Sex appeal and glamour of Knowles have prompted advertisement makers to choose her for the famous advertisement campaigns of L'Oreal, Tommy Hilfiger and Pepsi. Pop diva Britney Spears and Pink were united with Knowles when the three appeared in a Pepsi commercial, a hit in the marketplace.

Also, her fans and critics are awaiting to see her in the new film Dreamgirls that will open on Xmas day. Dreamgirls has cast like Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, etc. Will her fans confuse the film over her real story, though Beyonce scoffed rumors?

On the personal friend and relationships, Beyonce, born on September 4, 1981, is totally different from other celebrities. Though Beyonce has been dating rapper Jay-Z for the past four years, the couple has never publicly discussed their relationship. According to Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who do not want to play with their relationship, this attitude has helped them.

Beyond the role of a Grammy Award-winning American R&B singer, songwriter, record producer, Golden Globe Award-nominated actress, dancer, fashion designer, and a model for House of Deréon for the glitterati world, Beyonce is a good human being with less controversies. However, recently, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, an animal rights organization, has raised concern over Beyoncé wearing and using fur in her clothing line, House of Deréon.
